NAPMDD has some great resources, especially when it comes to finding and talking to a doctor about your symptoms, getting diagnosed, treatments, what to tell your doctor and when.
Clinical Care Help Sheets from NAPMDD
I printed out the last sheet, page 4 of the PDF, checked off every symptom (and added in a few that were missing, in my case: sensitivity to noise, light, pain and rejection), and gave them to my psychiatrist and gynaecologist, who seemed to be surprised but grateful for being so proactive in the management of my disorder.
The National Association for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder is a great resource and advocacy group. They also have a small but adorable online gift shop where a percentage of the proceeds goes directly towards awareness, advocacy and research. (I have no connection to NAPMDD other than I've been using their website as a resource for information and to assist in getting a diagnosis from my doctors.)
As far as I know, they are a small, mainly volunteer based association, so I would encourage any support their way. Their fight is our fight.
